  1. Hi Mimi,

I wanted to write you a quick note to say thank you. It’s been a few years since we’ve caught up. I’ve had some significant career accomplishments recently, and I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting back on how I got here. As I thought back on the people that had helped me reach this point in my career, yours was one of the first names that came to mind. I wanted to say thank you, truly, for taking the time to talk with me after that initial meeting on campus for the careers workshop and volunteering your time with GV SHRM. Thank you for taking me on as an intern at Intertek. I took on that internship expecting to learn about ATS implementation, and as I progressed through the internship, I learned that and so much more about dynamics within an HR department at a large organization, my strengths, and the entire staffing process. Beyond the actual work experience, the advice that I received from you while working with you both at Intertek and through GVSU helped build the foundation for my HR career.

    Hope all is well!

    Thank you!

    Zack
